Go Barracudas!!

Congratulations to Laura Johnson and Woody Joye on being 2-time National YMCA Champions. Laura won the 100 and 200 Breaststroke, and Woody won the 200 and 400 IM.
MYB finished in 8th place overall at YMCA Nationals. The women finished in 9th place, and the men in 10th place. There were 221 teams at the meet. Total athletes were 1611 with 878 women and 733 men.

Montgomery YMCA Barracudas Scrip Program is in full swing. Turn orders in to the Scrip Folder by Wednesdays. Contact Carol Coleman with any questions.

What is MYB? The Montgomery YMCA Barracuda Swim Team (MYB) is Alabama’s most productive and awarded YMCA swim team. Swimmers are eligible for YMCA Swimming and U.S.A Swimming competitions. The primary purpose of the team is to provide each of its swimmers an opportunity to attain his/her maximum potential in competitive swimming. MYB is the area’s only year-round swim program that offers training to beginners as well as national competition. For more information on joining the team, team history, swim levels and time standards please see "What/Who is MYB?". Swim practices are held at the East YMCA Pool Monday through Saturday.
