ASSISTANT COACHES:
Coach
Joe
Reynolds
Joe
Reynolds has been coaching
swimming since 1996, beginning his ten year
tenure as the head
coach of the Prattville Flying Fish at that time. A YMCA
swimmer
in high school, he never took the sport seriously until
later in life – too late to make an
impact on the world scene.
Regardless, the Flying Fish boast multiple top three
state-wide finishes in Alabama Parks and Recreation summer
swimming since 2000,
and are heralded as one of the state’s
largest teams with over 180 participants yearly.
Joe began
coaching the Barracudas in 1997, where he was a full-time
assistant until 1999.
Now Coach Joe juggles several jobs to
support his nine children, but he coaches about
twice each week
during short course season
